Whether you want to race or simply want to ride, Freedom Park BMX Raceway and Elings Park BMX Raceway provide great BMX riding and competetive racing opportunities for participants of all ages and abilities. Sanctioned by USA BMX--the largest BMX sanctioning body in the world--FPBMX and EPBMX are dedicated to creating a healthy, positive cycling environment. CA28 (in yellow) keeps on growing and growing! Not by much but enough to make sense. Check it out-- our fellow BMXers north of Santa Maria to SLO (San Luis Obispo) will be happy to know that they are now officially part of the Gold Coast BMX country-- the fastest growing BMX region in the state that in it's first year grew to become one of the largest in the state in terms of members and home to the #2 track in SoCal, top 5 in that West, Elings Park! Yea, you!! NEW YEAR! NEW DREAMS! NEW WEEKEND TIMES!The New Year's weekend brought out over 150 riders and racers to Elings Park and Freedom Park this past weekend, dropping the gate on what will most certainly be a golden year for BMX on the SoCal Gold Coast! With your help we have grown to be one of the top tracks and BMX programs in SoCal and the West! We have lots of great camps, special events and race series like the 3rd Annual Gold Coast Cup already in the works. And we are working with our strategic partner Erick Kozin at Nema to help make Ventura BMX a reality this calendar year! So, bring a friend with you to the track and together we'll make this year an even greater one for BMX racing on the Gold Coast! Please note our new weekend practice and race times: Camarillo's Freedom Park BMX will now be open on Saturdays for pratice and race, 3:00PM - 5:00PM sign-ups, racing ASAP after 5:00PM. Santa Barbara's Elings Park BMX will now be open on Sundays for practice and race, 11:00AM - 1:00PM, racing ASAP after 1:00PM. All other hours of operation remain unchanged. TUESDAY TRAINING CLINICS WITH LEGENDARY BMX TRAINER, BIKE BUILDER AND ABA #1 FACTORY TEAM OWNER/MANAGER, MIKE REDMAN!Yep, you know it. BMX racing's one and only Mike Redman - who's featured as the cover story in the April issue of the ABA's all-new magazine, PULL! - is making his weekly training home right here on the Gold Coast at Camarillo's Freedom Park BMX Raceway! And every Tuesday (except when he's attending the ABA National Series, a UCI BMX Supercross race, or announcing the BMX finals at the Olympic Games) you can be here training with "Redbone" too!
