2026 Gold Cup and CA South State Race

This year we will be offering both online pre-signs and in-person sign ups. We highly recommend signing up online to save time and stress the day of the race!

Online sign-ups will open on May 23, 2026 & close at 11:59pm on Friday, June 5, 2026

In-person sign-ups will be available at the track both the night before and the day of the race following our block schedule:

​

• Friday 6/5 during open practice: 4-7pm

• Saturday 6/6 during each block practice:

  • ​Block 1 (balance bikes & novices): 8:30am - 9:30am

  • Block 2 (cruisers and intermediates): 10:45am - 11:30am 

  • Block 3 (boy and girl experts): 1:30pm - 2pm​

Cost: $50 per rider/class; balance bikes $20  
​
Awards: 1st - 3rd place per main event 

Motos for each block will be posted on our website via live motos immediately before that block's designated racing start time. 
​

Corrections will be handled in-person before the start of each block. 

Races will run on a block schedule

1 block = practice, 1st round, 2nd round, semis, main events, and awards  
​
BLOCK SCHEDULE (subject to change) --

• Block 1: Balance Bikes & Novices 

  • Practice: 9:00-9:30am

  • Racing: 9:45am 

​

• Block 2: Cruisers & Intermediates 

  • Practice: 10:45-11:30am

  • Racing: 11:45am 

​

• Block 3: Girl & Boy Experts 

  • ​Practice: 1:30-2:00pm

  • Racing: 2:15pm ​​​

We will have water, gatorade, soda, and pre-packaged snacks for sale in our concession stand. 

We will have several professional photographers out on the track snapping pictures of the race action. Check our social media pages the weekend of the race for more info! 

Parking is available for free in Freedom Park. The street directly in front of the track (Convair St.) will be closed to traffic. You can enter the park using using Eubanks St. or Freedom Park Dr. Entering at Freedom Park Dr. will take you to the parking lot by the baseball fields. Entering at Eubanks will take you to the empty dirt lot next to the track.

We do not charge for Pit Area / Canopy space. All canopies must be set up outside the track gates and space is available on a first come, first served basis. Canopy set up begins at 8am on June 14th.

Bathrooms are located in the parking lot next to the baseball fields. It takes about 2 minutes to walk there from the track gate entrance. See map below for more details on parking, canopy space, and bathrooms.
